The City of Gainesville's Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) Assistance program is designed to provide temporary financial assistance to Gainesville neighbors in extremely low-, very low-, and low-and-moderate income households.
It is expected to expand to rent or mortgage assistance as well.
Funds are available to eligible neighbors within Gainesville’s city limits who have suffered a loss of income, reduction in work hours or unemployment resulting from the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
Funds are available on a first-qualified, first-served basis.
Applicant(s) address must match the address on the utility, telephone, cable and/or internet statement(s).
Applicant(s) or household member must not have received any other financial assistance for utility, telephone, cable and/or internet payments for the time frame the payment is being requested from the city.
Delinquent (past due) accounts are not eligible.
