Steer clear of withdrawn listings


The article “31 Ways to Get Listings” in the August issue of Florida Realtor magazine advised members to look for expired and withdrawn listings when seeking new leads – but it shouldn’t have suggested withdrawn listings due to the fact that those owners could still be under contract with the listing brokerage. To do so may present legal and ethical implications since the term “withdrawn” can be defined differently depending on the circumstances. Have questions?
